St Paul's Church is one of the oldest churches in Oamaru. Designed by Thomas Forrester, work on St Paul's began in 1862 and was completed by 1872.

There are two memorial windows commemorating the world wars. The First World War memorial is a window in four lights in the west transept, while the Second World War memorial is a two light window on the west wall of the nave. In addition there are two extensive rolls of honour in the entrance porch.
