Christchurch earthquake casualties

Peter Symms, a regular visitor to the city from Scotland, being cared for shortly after he was rescued from the Regent Theatre building in Cathedral Square on 22 February 2011. One of his rescuers, Mike Ryan, stands behind him wearing a bloodied jacket.
