The memorial was removed when State Highway was put through. A memorial Wall is located at Mussel Bay with names from Boer War, World War 1 and World War 2. on 11 November 2001, a memorial Plaque was erected at Chalmers Place, Port Chalmers, and Dedicated to those from the Harbourside (Ravensbourne to Aramoana. This was the same day the Victoria Cross Plaques were re-Dedicated at the Cenotaph in Dunedin, after they had moved twice from their original position outside Dunedin RSA Building 469 Moray Place
