Notice in the New Zealand Gazette August 1916, prohibiting the use of the word ‘Anzac’ in connection with any trade or business.
An amendment in December that year allowed for use of the term ‘Anzac’ for approved jewellery, ornaments, badges and other articles provided they weren't trade-marked.
