The Shannon War Memorial Hall was dedicated on 28 August 1954.

It houses a shrine with a roll of honour that lists one South African War name (Percy Nation, who has his own dedicated memorial nearby), twenty First World War names, ten Second World war names, and one Vietnam War name (Peter Rauhihi).
