St Augustine’s Anglican Church in Petone was opened on 2 April 1903. The church contains four military rolls of honour.

There is a Petone Naval Artillery memorial tablet erected by members of the unit in 1911. This does not relate to war service, but lists members of the corps who died during their terms of service between 1892 and 1909, including Corporal H. Barr, who was lost in the wreck of the SS Waratah in July 1909.

The Petone Navals' Club First World War roll of honour was unveiled on 21 May 1922. It is inscribed TO THE GLORY OF GOD / AND / TO THE UNDYING MEMORY OF / THOSE WHO GAVE THEIR LIVES / IN THE GREAT WAR, 1914-1919 / FOR GOD AND HUMANITY. It lists the names of 26 former members of the club who gave their lives.

The parish's own First World War and Second World War memorial tablets list the names of 18 men and 45 men respectively who gave their lives.
