The tiny Anglican Church of St Luke, Whataroa, has a three-light stained glass war memorial window set above the altar. This was given to the church by Henry Burrough and his sister in memory of their brother Joseph Burrough, who died on active service in France on 22 June 1917. The window was in place when the church was dedicated on 10 July 1919.
