The first story of this 1953 Pictorial Parade follows New Zealand troops as they prepare, cook and enjoy their Christmas dinner in Korea, including a hangi prepared by Māori soldiers. The men are issued two bottles of beer each, and in keeping with army tradition, the officers serve the other ranks their Christmas dinner.
