Opunake roll of honour

Opunake roll of honour

Opunake's Second War War roll of honour was unveiled in the Opunake Town Hall on Anzac Day 1950. The carved and decorated wooden tablet listed the names of 166 men and women from Opunake who had served during the war. On the same day the names of the two men who had been killed were also added to the town's First World War memorial.
