I have some of my grandfathers papers including the whakapapa from my grandfather Earland Patterson back to Irihapeti and John Horton McKay. Irihapeti is named as the daughter of Potatau Te Wherowhero and Hinepau. I understand Hinepau is from Ngati Pukeko and would be interested in knowing more.

I am the 3 great grand daughter of John Horton McKay and Irihapeti Hahau (daughter of Te WheroWhero and Hinepau Haheu) My great grandmother Annie was one of their 11 children and her Daughter Florrie married Robert Paki Ormsby. They had 13 children and their daughter Sybil is my Grandmother. I look forward to my journey learning about these people and their lives
