Sarah Annie Cannell nee George (1846-1940) (known as Annie). The wife of Wesleyan minister Rev William Douglas Cannell (1836-1921) who was stationed at Hawera Wesleyan Church.
Their daughters Elsie (1871-?), Gertrude (1866-1949) and Winifred (1869-?) who also signed the petition. They had 16 children.
