Jane Mary Daly/Daley was born about 1827.
When she signed the suffrage petition Jane was living with her sister Margaret (See 56 M M Daly) in Melville Lane (off Great King St), Dunedin.
Jane and her sister were both teachers and neither of them married.
She died on 27 February 1897 and is buried in the Southern Cemetery with her sister.
