Marion Chapman Fell was born in 1871 in Waikouaiti, north of Dunedin, the daughter of Charles Robertson Fell, a butcher, and Helen Justice.
When Marion signed the suffrage petition she was living with her family in Waikouaiti.
She died at her home on July 19th 1956. She is buried in the family grave in the Waikouaiti Cemetery.
