Margaret Grant was born in 1869 in New Zealand – the daughter of Alexander Grant, a carpenter, and Isabella Stewart. (See 55 Mrs Grant)
When Margaret signed the suffrage petition she was living with her family in Elm Row, Dunedin working as a tailoress.
After this Margaret’s life is unclear.
