Marion Morrison was born in New Zealand in 1862 – the daughter of James Morrison, an agricultural labourer, and Margaret Crawford. (See 58 Margaret Morrison)

The family lived in Upper York Place, Dunedin where Marion signed the suffrage petition.

She married James Anderson, a grocer, in 1895 and they had three children.

James died at their home in Duncan St in 1933 and Marion died on 4 September1953 at the age of 91.

She is buried with James in the Northern Cemetery.
