Hannah Wigzell (nee Lee) married Charles Wigzell, a gardener, in 1846 in Kentucky, USA. Although her husband was an American, Hannah was born in the United Kingdom in 1825, making her 21 at the time of her marriage. She was about 68 years old when she signed the Petition in 1893, as she passed away the following year, aged 69. Helen Wigzell, who signed the same Sheet of the Petition, was Hannah’s daughter.
