Jane/Jean Drysdale Wright was born on April 20th 1863 in New Zealand the daughter of Agnes Dalziel Wright. (See 39 Agnes Wright)
When Jane signed the suffrage petition she was living with her mother and sister (See 39 Jessie Wright) in Broughton St, South Dunedin working as a machinist.
After her mother’s death and sister’s marriage Jane remained in Broughton Street.
On 11 April 1924 Jane collapsed and died while walking home from work in her lunchtime – she is buried in the family grave in the Southern Cemetery.
