The Te Toro and Kohekohe roll of honour was unveiled in the Te Toro Hall on 25 April 1951. This listed the names of 16 local men who had served in the First World War, three of whom had died, and 17 who had served in the Second World War (two deaths). The hall itself was not a war memorial hall, but had been built as a community hall in 1921.
