One is a handwritten list of the names of 85 men connected with the congregation who served during the war; the other is a bronze shield engraved with the names of the 18 men who gave their lives (A. Eric Bagnall, George S. Bagnall, Richard Bell, Douglas Craig, Leonard B. Creamer, A. Douglas Dawson, W. Nelson Gardner, George McKinstry, Leslie McKinstry, John Mackay, Moore Morpeth, S.J. Lloyd Rees, John Neil Rew, Hugh L. Ross, Rob Shepherd, W. Dromer Smith, Roderick Stewart and William Muir Wilson).

A total of 45 men from the congregation served during the Second World War, of whom seven lost their lives (F.J. Brown, G.W. Brown, W.F. Budge, E.J. Cornes, J.F. H. Cain, J.F. Hunt, and F. Leyland). After the war a baptismal font was dedicated in memory of the fallen  and a lectern was dedicated to those who had served.
