Bronze medal won by Under-17 women in 2018

New Zealand midfielder Grace Wisnewski shoots for goal against Canada during the third-place playoff at the FIFA Under-17 Women’s World Cup in 2018. Wisnewski scored twice as the young New Zealanders won 2–1 at the Estadio Charrúa in Montevideo. This remains the best result by a New Zealand national football team in a global tournament.
