The Mt. Albert Grammar School War Memorial Pavilion was dedicated on Anzac Day 25th. April 1956. It serves as a proud reminder of the 198 past pupils who died in the Second World War. The Prime Minister the right Hon. S.G. Holland unveiled the plague which named each ex pupil who died, during the war.
As part of the MAGS centennial commemoration on Anzac Day 2022 a new centennial walkway was opened which included the cenotaph surrounding the flagpole. The cenotaph named 202 ex pupils 4 new additions since WW2.
