Canterbury Knob

A famous machine-gun position on the right flank of the Apex position overlooking the headwaters of the Sazli Beit Dere. Known also as Preston's Top after Lieutenant Allan Preston, Wellington Battalion, who first placed machine guns there during the Sari Bair offensive in August 1915.
