The Mikra Memorial, Greece, lists the names of 21 men and 9 women (nurses) who served with the New Zealand Expeditionary Force during the First World War. These NZEF service personnel were killed when the Marquette was sunk by a German torpedo on 23 October 1915. One other NZEF nurse (Margaret Rogers) is buried in the Mikra British Cemetery.
