On 26 February the body of four-year-old Phoebe ‘Flossy’ Veitch was found washed ashore at the mouth of the Whanganui River. Her mother, Phoebe Veitch, was found guilty of Flossy’s murder but her death sentence was commuted after it was determined by a Jury of Matrons that she was pregnant. Hear related podcast
