Hōri Kīngi Raumati signed the Waitangi sheet of the Treaty of Waitangi on 6 February 1840. He was a rangatira (chief) of the Ngāti Toro, Te Ngahengahe and Te Popoto hapū (subtribes) of Ngāpuhi.
