My name is malcolm pitman and alexander malcolm hammond was my great grandfather. His brother christopher hammond my great great uncle is also mentioned as serving in the south african war and playing rugby leauge for the nz team. I noticed his fathers name was entered as william hammond which is not the case. their fathers name was also christopher hammond. Hope this can be corrected. Yours sincerley malcolm Pitman.
