Arthur John Cromie was born 5 August 1872, d. 31 August, 1920, buried Old Waimate Cemetery, Waimate, South Canterbury, New Zealand, son of William & Annie Cromie, Cust, New Zealand. Arthur married Matida Elizabeth Shotter, 22 April 1903. Matida d. 5 August 1957.
