Researching my family, the above mentioned Peter Vincent Bourke was my great-grandfather's brother. Is it possible to put me in contact with Sue Reeves who wrote about her grandfather? I would love to contact her for family information. With thanks, Jenni Taylor

My grandfather Peter Vincent Bourke No 8521 sailed to South Africa to fight in the Boer War in 1902 from NZ. When they got there the War was over. Their horses were shot and they came home. He never did receive a pension. I Have a Certificate of Merit here presented to him for the services rendered to The South African War Veterans Association of NZ dated 10 August 1954. I also have his badge. He was a lovely lovely man.
