Ann McCallum Malloch was born in New Zealand in 1868. She was the daughter of Donald Malloch and Elizabeth Wright. Her sister Janet Malloch also signed the petition.

When Ann signed the suffrage petition she was living at Waikouaiti where her father farmed.

Ann died on 10 July 1905 at Kyeburn, Otago where she was staying 'for the benefit of her health.'

She was buried in the family grave in the Waikouaiti Cemetery.
