Agnes Bell married John Dodds, a quarryman, in 1872. They had five children and lived in Begg St, Musselburgh, Dunedin. They later lived in Warrington north of Dunedin where they had a farm.

John died in 1919 and is buried in the Warrington Cemetery. Agnes disappears from the records after this and her place and date of death are unknown.
