Annie Arthur Drysdale was born about 1860 in Scotland and she arrived in New Zealand about 1884.
She married David Drysdale, a labourer, (no known relative) on 20 August 1885 in the North Taieri Parish.
When Annie signed the suffrage petition they were living in Cumberland St, Dunedin.
They had a daughter in 1896 who died aged five months and they later adopted Grace who had been born in 1895.
David died in January 1939 and Annie died on 3 October 1939, they are buried with Grace in the Andersons Bay Cemetery.
