Annie Nelson was born about 1850.
She married George Carter on December 2nd 1873 in Dunedin and they had 4 children.
When Annie signed the suffrage petition they were living in Maryhill Terrace, Mornington.
She died at her home on October 12th 1909 and George died at their daughter’s home at Kokonga in 1917.
They are buried in the family grave in the Southern Cemetery.
