She married Julius Ottomar Feil, a banker’s clerk, in 1883 in London.

Julius was a widower with five children. They had two sons in England before they emigrated in 1887 on the Ruapehu

Their daughter was born the following year and when Annie signed the suffrage petition the family were living in Wain St, Kensington.

Julius died in 1913 and Annie died at her home in Kensington on 31 May 1921 – they are buried together in the Southern Cemetery.
