Annie Firth was born in 1863 in New Zealand – the daughter of Aaron Firth, a stone mason, and Ann Priestnall. (See 248 Mrs A Firth)
When Annie signed the suffrage petition she was living with her family in Cobden.
She died on 3 October 1924 in Greymouth and is buried in the family grave in the Karoro Cemetery.
Her obituary said 'her activities in Sunday School and Christian endeavour work extended over many years'.
