Annie Louisa Iles was born in New Zealand in 1865 – the daughter of James Iles & Louisa Martha Davey.
When Annie signed the suffrage petition she was living with her family in Leith St, Dunedin.
She married James Brodie Mack, a widower with 2 children – the manager of a soap & candle factory, on April 3rd 1895 at St Mark’s Church, Wellington.
They had one son &, in 1913, they took over the licence for the Dunstan Hotel in Clyde.
James died in Christchurch in 1915, he is buried in the Linwood Cemetery.
Annie remarried in 1917 to Martin Levi Paget, a sheep farmer, he died in 1943 at Wairoa & is buried in the Wairoa Cemetery.
After Martin’s death Annie lived for a time in Gisborne before going to live with her son in Sydney, she died there in March 1949, her burial place is unknown.
