Annie Sutherland McLeod was born about 1866, probably in New Zealand – the daughter of Hugh McLeod, a tailor, and Catherine McBeath. (See 114 Catherine McLeod)
She grew up in Dunedin and when she signed the suffrage petition she was living with her widowed mother in Melrose in Roslyn.
Annie died at her home on 21 December 1893 – she is buried in the family grave in the Northern Cemetery.
