Biography contributed by Katherine Blakeley

Annie Stevenson married John Thomas Stanley, a cutler (maker of cutlery) and second hand dealer, in New Zealand in 1890. They ran a second hand shop in Walker St, Dunedin.

When John died suddenly in 1906 they were living in Great King St and Annie signed her affidavit for the probate of John’s will with a cross.

Annie seems to disappear after John’s death. She may have re-married as she is not buried with John in the Northern Cemetery.
