Annie Kennedy was born about 1867 in Australia.
She came to New Zealand in the 1880’s & she married William Yates, an iron moulder, in 1891.
They had 2 children & when Annie signed the suffrage petition they were living in Athol Place, Dunedin.
Annie died on June 11th 1948 & William died in 1950, they are buried together in the Northern Cemetery.
