Isabella (Bella) Harkness was born about 1864 in County Derry, Ireland. She arrived in New Zealand about 1885.
In 1886 she married Swan Andrew Andrews, a bootmaker. They had three children and lived in Walker St, Dunedin.
Their 15 year old daughter, Eva, died there in 1907 and Swan also died at Walker St in 1914.
Isabella died at Roseneath, Dunedin on 19 February 1934. She is buried in the Southern Cemetery with her husband and daughter.
