Bridget Mary Josephine Kennelly was born about 1859 in County Limerick, Ireland.
She emigrated to New Zealand in the late 1880s. She married Patrick Quinn, a labourer, in 1891, and they had four children.
When Bridget signed the suffrage petition the family were living in Palmerston in North Otago.
Bridget died in Palmerston on February 1st 1917, and Patrick died in Dunedin in 1927. They are buried in the Palmerston Cemetery.
