Elizabeth Ann (Bessie) Campbell was born in 1872 in New Zealand, the daughter of Duncan Campbell and Elizabeth Trezise.
When she signed the suffrage petition Bessie was living with her widowed mother in Russell Street, Dunedin.
She died on February 16th 1925, and is buried with her parents in the Northern Cemetery.
