Caroline Blesham (nee Coombs) was born around 1852. She married Francis Samuel Belsham in New Zealand in 1874. They had Frank (1875-1959), Frederick Samuel (1875-1953), Florence Elizabeth Clara (1881-), Claude Howard (1883-1961), Caroline Ada (1885-) and Mabel Esther (1886-1919). In the 1890s they lived in Clinton where Francis was an engine driver. By 1905 they had moved to Conon St, Invercargill and later lived in Ettrick and Crinan Sts.
Francis died in 1915, followed by Caroline in 1929. They were buried in St John’s Cemetery, Invercargill with their daughter Mabel.
