Catherine Graham was born on 19 November 1820 in Glasgow, Scotland – the daughter of William Graham, a farmer, and Catherine McAra.
She emigrated to Otago in 1852 on the Columbus - also on board was her brother John and sister Mary Hunter along with Mary’s husband James.
When Catherine signed the suffrage petition she was living in Howe St, Dunedin.
She died on 16 September 1896 and is she buried in the Northern Cemetery.
