Catherine McGregor was born about 1858.
She married Joseph Green, a blacksmith, in Invercargill in 1879 and they had four children.
They lived in Mataura and Riversdale before moving to Mandeville about 1890 where Catherine signed the suffrage petition.
Joseph died in 1933 and Catherine died on 14 October 1946 – they are buried together in the Gore Cemetery.
