Catherine Anne Green was born about 1856 in New Zealand, the daughter of Michael Green and Margaret Mowatt.
She married William McLean on November 20th 1879 in the Waikouaiti parish. They had seven children.
Catherine signed the suffrage petition in Waikouaiti. She died on July 21st 1897 at her sister’s home in Corner Bush, Southland.
William remarried in the 1900s. He died in 1932.
They are buried together in the Waikouaiti Cemetery.
