Catherine was born about 1838, she was married to William Wilson, a building contractor.
They do not appear to have had any children and when Catherine signed the suffrage petition they were living in St Andrew St, Dunedin.
William died in 1895 and Catherine died on 17 July 1911. They are buried together in the Northern Cemetery.
