Charlotte Haine/s was born in 1869 in New Zealand – the daughter of John Eaton Haines, a saddler and general storekeeper, and Charlotte.
She grew up in Queenstown where she signed the suffrage petition until she married John George in 1907.
Charlotte and John lived in Whangarei where Charlotte died on 23 October 1917.
John died in 1922, they are buried together in the Kioreroa Cemetery, Whangarei.
