Christina Mary St Clair MacLean was born in 1869 in New Zealand – the daughter of Fitzroy Charles Stuart MacLean, a clerk, and Margaret Mearns.
She grew up in Dunedin & when Christina signed the suffrage petition she was living with her family in Cumberland St working as a tailoress.
She married Robert James Cook, a baker, on 11 September 1894 and they had four children, two who died in early childhood.
Soon after their marriage they moved to Auckland where Christina died on 1 January 1955 and Robert died in 1957.
Christina was cremated & her ashes were interred in the Waikumete Cemetery.
