Christina Harvey was born about 1842 in Scotland and came to New Zealand about 1874.
In 1875 she married Alexander McLennan, a gardener. By 1884 when their sixth and youngest child died they were living in Caversham, Dunedin.
Christina died on 21 April 1915 in Dunedin and Alexander died in 1937.
They are buried in the Southern Cemetery.
