Christina Elizabeth Scott was born in 1865 in New Zealand – the daughter of James Scott and Agnes Bremner.

She married James Stewart on 11 September 1889 in Dunedin.

They had seven children, one who died in infancy, and when Christina signed the suffrage petition they were living in Farley St, Kaikorai.

Christina died at her home on 13October 1907 – she is buried with her parents in the Southern Cemetery.

James died in 1942 – he is buried in the Andersons Bay Cemetery.
